Watercolour is a favourite with Gerard for exploring new ideas. When working with watercolour brush pens, Gerard enjoys tackling the hard decisions the restricted range of colours presents. Inspired by the lightness in the work of Raoul Dufy, Gerard chooses urban and rural subjects, almost always featuring things human hands have built.
